About

Aartii Sabhaney’s career spans journalism, academia, and industry. Her journey in technology for close to a decade has given her significant insights into the interplay of innovation and culture.


In 2018, she served on the Board Diversity and Appointments Committee for the Singapore Institute of Directors. In 2019, Aartii authored a research paper on the underrepresentation of women in AI and engineering. She mentors women in technology and is a volunteer with Women in AI.


Aartii is also an advisor to Learning Initiatives, an organization dedicated to researching and preserving the linguist culture and art heritage of minority groups. Her storytelling expertise has been acknowledged through invitations to teach communications at Sydenham College, her alma mater, and to serve as a judge for prestigious awards, including the Digital Impact Awards, IABC Gold Quill Awards, and PRWeek Global Awards in 2022.


Aartii’s cultural diversity, shaped by her experiences living in Indonesia, India, and Singapore before making Australia her home, has significantly influenced her literary vision. She holds two master’s degrees, including an executive master’s from INSEAD Asia.
